Supervision
Clinical Supervision
I currently offer clinical supervision to LMFTAs and LMHCAs in the state of Washington as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor..
I am available to meet with potential interns in person or via phone prior to beginning the supervision process as it is important to understand the goals and expectations of supervision while also fostering a positive relationship.
Philosophy of Supervision
In short, I believe that supervision is a collaborative process to facilitate growth and development as a therapist. I take a systemic approach to therapy as well as supervision. This means I respect the intersections of one’s life which includes, but not limited to, their relationships, friendships, family, profession, race, ethnicity, sexuality, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, religion, etc. I believe these factors impact a person’s past and present. I take the same approach when working with supervisees.
